This hand-made seat mixes rigidity with form. The name X8 is due to the X cross halving joint the rails form under the seat, and the 8 degree angle of the legs.
 
Utilising traditional furniture joinery this seat has been created to have a minimal elegant form whilst having the rigidity to maintain the often testing function of seating; in this case the function of furniture compliments its minimal form.
 
Each seat can stack upon one another and nest for ease in storage. The hard Tasmanian Eucalypt combined with the traditional bridal joint and through pin allows for the item to withstand the test of time.
